Program Overview

 

In order to meet the economic, social and environmental challenges, which are very specific to the African continent, the challenge of this Major is to define the leadership approaches that will lead to sustainable economic innovation and that will have a positive impact on the environment, society and individuals.

This program was co-developed with AFD and two African academic institutions (UM6P in Morocco and UCT in South Africa). The aim of the Major is to inspire participants with the innovative practices of key stakeholders in Africa, and to apply them in an individual project.

The program is aimed at :

Leaders or future leaders in the African continent, from all horizons. Company directors, senior executives and high potential managers in African companies or international groups, entrepreneurs, administrative executives in the public or para-public sector and managers of associations and NGOs.

A word from the academic directors

 

THE GEMM PROGRAM AND ITS SPECIALIZED MAJOR

 

The program is composed of 2 Executive Certificates and a professional thesis:

  • MUST Management d’une Unité Stratégique (common certificate for all GEMM Majors)
  • Lead Campus

Writing and defending a professional thesis, with the support of an HEC Paris tutor, concludes the program.

Exclusive feature of the Major : 

The modules of this unique itinerant program are taught in French and English and are run in five different countries.
