Celebrating Excellence Through Two Scholarship Award Ceremonies
At HEC Paris, an Excellence Scholarship represents much more than financial support. It recognizes a student’s journey and potential, and reflects the trust placed in talented individuals from around the world as they pursue their ambitions.
This commitment to excellence and equal opportunities was at the heart of two recent ceremonies celebrating HEC Paris Master’s and MBA scholarship recipients, alongside representatives from HEC Paris and the HEC Foundation, as well as the donors and corporate partners whose generosity makes these scholarships possible.
In total, 255 students representing 62 nationalities from the Master’s programs and 51 MBA students were celebrated.
Behind Every Scholarship, a Journey and an Ambition
Beyond the official presentation of scholarship certificates, these two events were above all an opportunity to put faces and stories to the scholarships.
Several scholarship recipients shared their personal journeys, ambitions, and what this support means to them. Their stories served as a powerful reminder that the impact of a scholarship extends far beyond financial assistance: it enables students to pursue their studies with greater peace of mind, make the most of the opportunities offered by HEC Paris, and develop their projects and ambitions.
The ceremonies also offered an opportunity to highlight the many different forms of commitment that help support HEC Paris students today.
Among them, the Stan Schwab Fund for Athletic and Academic Merit, which recognizes students who combine academic excellence with a strong commitment to sport, and the Wonder Women Fund illustrate donors’ commitment to supporting outstanding individual journeys and talents.

Donors and Corporate Partners Supporting Students
Scholarships are also made possible through the commitment of corporate partners. CMA CGM and Volkswagen Group, among others, support students through dedicated scholarship programs.
Their presence at these ceremonies brings this commitment to life, creating an opportunity for scholarship recipients to meet those who have chosen to believe in and support their potential.
For the HEC Foundation, these occasions are also a valuable opportunity to highlight the essential role played by all its donors and partners in enabling HEC Paris to attract and support talented students from around the world.

More Than a Certificate, a Vote of Confidence
The presentation of scholarship certificates is a symbolic moment at each ceremony, marking the recognition of each recipient’s achievements and potential. Yet behind every certificate lies an even greater promise: giving talented students the means to pursue their ambitions and, in turn, make a meaningful contribution to society.
The celebrations continued with a cocktail reception, giving students, donors, corporate partners, and representatives from HEC Paris and the HEC Foundation the opportunity to meet and exchange in a more informal setting.
Through these two ceremonies, one shared conviction emerged: supporting a scholarship is about much more than funding an education. It means recognizing potential, encouraging ambition, and placing trust in those who will help shape the world of tomorrow.
