Class Gift 2025: 20 years of tradition marked by a record-breaking donation!
Since 2005, graduating classes from HEC have carried on a wonderful tradition: a collective donation to the HEC Foundation during a convivial dinner held the night before graduation. This student-led initiative, launched alongside the first Major Donors in 2005, marked the beginning of a powerful collective movement in support of HEC.
To celebrate the 20th edition on June 12, six Major Donors from the Class of H.05 — including Michel Touati, then-president of the Student Union and initiator of the first Class Gift (together with classmates Marc Ramanantsoa and Jean Garandeau) — sponsored the Class of 2025. To mark this 20th anniversary, former Class Gift sponsors, past BDE presidents, and Deans of HEC were invited to share in this memorable evening, which ended with a surprise fireworks display!
A special video was produced featuring these Major Donors, who shared heartfelt messages with the graduating students:
Thanks to the generosity of 445 students from the Class of H.25 and the support of the H.05 donors, a record-breaking €347,000 was raised!
This September, 10 new students will receive scholarships funded by the donations from H.25 graduates, further strengthening the HEC solidarity chain.
A huge THANK YOU to all the new donors to the Foundation, to Marc Ramanantsoa, to our volunteers, to the Carrefours HEC association, and to the members of the Class Gift student team who made this evening possible and carried forward this incredible tradition!
