An Exceptional mobilization by the Class of H.05 for their 20th Anniversary

During the Class Gift 2025 dinner, the H.05 class — affectionately nicknamed the "Moonfishers" — demonstrated extraordinary generosity in support of the HEC Foundation: one million euros for the future of HEC Paris!
A remarkable show of solidarity that highlights the strength of the HEC network!

Having initiated the wonderful tradition of the Student Class Gift, the Class of 2005 came together with energy and generosity, raising over one million euros to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their graduation from HEC.
Thanks to the generosity of 235 donors, a cheque for €1,002,005 was presented to the HEC Foundation.

This success perfectly illustrates the power of the HEC network: when alumni unite around a shared vision, they can truly shape the future of our students — and of society at large. With this one-million-euro gift, the Foundation will be able to:

• Fund new merit-based and need-based scholarships, so that talented students — regardless of their social or geographic background — can access our programs without financial barriers.
• Accelerate cutting-edge research by supporting the Sustainability & Organizations Institute and academic chairs dedicated to the major economic, social, and environmental challenges shaping tomorrow's world.
• Strengthen student well-being, particularly through the HEC Village project, which has already led to the creation of new sports facilities and the renovation of Building M and the student Kfet.

Beyond the numbers, this is above all a human story: that of 235 alumni and friends of HEC who remember what the school gave them and who have chosen, in turn, to open doors for the next generation. Each donation carries a message of encouragement, hope, and a call to believe in one’s dreams.

We would like to warmly salute the energy and engagement of the entire H.05 class: their unity made all the difference. They’ve shown that a close-knit class can move mountains and serve as a powerful force for transformation at HEC Paris.

Thanks to their generosity, they surpassed the symbolic one-million-euro mark — but more importantly, they have firmly anchored the spirit of the "Moonfishers", a name that perfectly embodies the solidarity and generosity of the HEC community. A heartfelt thank you to them.
