Mentorship and Student Awards
At the heart of the Creative Destruction Lab model is the quality of mentorship. Mentors, who are accomplished entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, and operators, commit their time directly to founders, shape objectives-based mentorship and open the doors of their network. This year, and for the first time at CDL-Paris, we decided to introduce mentorship and student awards to recognise the people who went furthest in their engagement, as voted by the community.
Congratulations to the following mentors, who went above and beyond in their respective streams:
2026 Above & Beyond Award: André Pitié
2026 Mentor Engagement Award: Olivier Perquel
2026 Climate - Outstanding Mentor: Alexander Robinson
2026 Artificial Intelligence - Outstanding Mentor: Ronald Ashri
2026 Next-Gen Computing - Outstanding Mentor: Karen Bach
Congratulations to the following HEC MBA students who were recognised as those whose engagement made a measurable difference to the companies and founders:
2026 Climate - Student Leadership: Idris Sadik
2026 Artificial Intelligence - Student Leadership: Mihir Vaidya
2026 Space - Student Leadership: Lindsey Martin
“When I joined Creative Destruction Lab three years ago, I came as a mentor to help founders. What I did not expect was how much I would learn in return. One of the most valuable parts of CDL is the discipline of group mentoring: helping founders sharpen and choose their top three strategic priorities for each 8-week cycle, across four sessions over roughly eight months. That format is demanding, but incredibly powerful.”
André Pitié, mentor at CDL-Paris
