Cornerstone OnDemand and HEC Paris Join Forces to Build the Digital Human Resources of the Future

LONDON – October 9, 2018 - Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ:CSOD), a global leader in cloud-based learning and human capital management software (HCM), has today announced a partnership with HEC Paris Business School for a new research project, focusing on human resources and human capital management through exhaustive data analysis.

The objective of the project is to help European leaders understand the latest technological breakthroughs in the new digital economy, and the benefits of implementing cloud-based HRM tools to manage recruiting, training, performance management and employee engagement.

Michael Segalla, Ph.D., Professor of Management and Human Resources at HEC Paris, and Cornerstone will collaborate to design courses suitable to HEC Paris programs, develop case studies, carry out applied and scientific research, and showcase the project at conferences.

Working with more than 3,350 customers worldwide from different industries, Cornerstone has seen unprecedented business transformation due to the rapid pace of technology change. Building on this vision and the organisation’s expertise gained through 18 years in business, Cornerstone will participate in designing research projects and help increase understanding of the impact human resources management tools on the European market.

"We need to speed up the acquisition of expertise by our students, who are facing the major economic challenges of the future. The Fourth Industrial Revolution, based on digital and data, is leading companies to rethink their process. This partnership with Cornerstone will enable us to make our teaching closer to the most advanced technologies in the field of human resources, because the innovation of tomorrow is based on the current generations of future leaders," explained Michael Segalla, Ph.D., Professor of Management and Human Resources at HEC Paris.

"Technology and digital innovations are completely transforming the world of work. Many of the senior leaders I meet wonder about the direction to take when it comes to recruiting, training and workplace collaboration," said Vincent Belliveau, Executive Vice President and General Manager EMEA, Cornerstone OnDemand. "This project with HEC Paris is a way for us to contribute to the discussion on human resources’ evolution, contribute to the training of the next generation of leaders, and help companies to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.”
