New Foundation award
The HEC Foundation awards showcase outstanding works in management science and honor creators of value.
This year, a new award has been created: the Bernard-André Parent Foundation Award.
The prize(s) from this Bernard-André Parent Foundation are intended to reward the best student thesis/es whose subject matter discusses the idea that worldwide geographical data (agricultural resources, mineral resources, demographics or climate conditions, etc.) determines the choice of all economic activity, and that in order to grow, or even to survive, businesses must therefore opt for agile management by integrating these forms of data (and their interlinks) almost in real time.
How to apply:
If you are interested in this prize, please notify your program director (Stéphanie Gouchault for Ge/MS/MSc, Alejandra Cervio for MBA, Christine Baldy for EMBA or Claudine Chocteau for EMS) and also send an email to the HEC Foundation at the following address: email@example.com
About Bernard-André Parent:
A graduate of HEC in 1961 and of the Institut des Hautes Finances in 1975, certified public accountant and member of the French academy of accounting, Bernard Parent worked for several major corporations such as IBM France, General Electric Info Systems, Bel or the CEA (Atomic Energy Commission). His keen interest in IT and geography led him to found the Bernard André Parent Foundation in 2011, under the aegis of the HEC Foundation, to promote the (real-time) integration of geographical, climatic and demographic data into business strategy management.
