The Recipes For Crowdfunding Success On Kickstarter -- And What To Avoid

Researchers from HEC Paris, INSEAD, Singapore Management University and University of Technology Sydney have used data from Kickstarter, the world’s number one platform for up-and-coming projects, to evaluate what a successful crowdfunding project comprises. They analysed 50,000 projects in nine product-based categories such as Food, Technology, and Video Games from the inception of Kickstarter in 2009 until February 2017 to write their research paper entitled "Does the Crowd Support Innovation? Innovation Claims and Success on Kickstarter."
