HEC Paris Becomes a Knowledge Partner of the Paris Peace ForumParticipate
Driven by a mission to inspire impactful global leadership, HEC Paris is proud to join forces with the Paris Peace Forum as a Knowledge Partner. This collaboration, established just before the Forum’s 7th edition on November 11-12, 2024, aligns with HEC’s commitment to addressing complex global challenges through academic insight and innovative governance solutions.

Together, HEC Paris and the Paris Peace Forum seek to enhance dialogue, foster innovation, and drive collaborative efforts toward a more inclusive and functional global order. By leveraging HEC’s expertise and network, the partnership aims to support the Forum’s mission to bring together global leaders and stakeholders in pursuit of concrete, sustainable solutions.
As part of this partnership, HEC Paris and the Paris Peace Forum will launch a joint Business & Peace Academy in January 2025. Over three weeks, students will engage with the challenges of responsible business conduct in conflict-affected areas, gaining insights into how businesses can play a role in promoting peace and stability.
The 7th Edition of the Paris Peace Forum: "Wanted: A Functioning Global Order"
The 7th edition of the Paris Peace Forum will take place on November 11-12, 2024, at the iconic Palais de Chaillot in Paris, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. This year’s theme, “Wanted: A Functioning Global Order,” addresses the urgent need for effective governance in a world facing power rivalries, global instability, North-South divides, and emerging transnational issues.
HEC Paris students from the HEC Imagine Fellows Association will attend the event, offering them a unique opportunity to connect with global leaders, gain exposure to complex international issues, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue around global governance. This experience is invaluable for the Fellows as they build a foundation in responsible leadership and broaden their perspectives on critical global issues.
Additionally, Charles Autheman, an expert in business and human rights and a professor at HEC Paris, will be present to engage with thought leaders and share insights from his work on responsible business practices. His participation underscores the importance of academic expertise in addressing the ethical challenges that businesses face in today’s interconnected world.
