EuroTeQathon 2025: three teams at the heart of technological and sustainable innovation

As part of its participation in the EuroTeQ project, HEC Paris took part in this year's EuroTeQathon in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The fifth edition of the event took place from June 14 to 16, 2025. One hundred and fifty students organized into twenty-four teams, as well as coaches, experts and staff from ten European universities, gathered to discuss new technologies, innovation, and sustainable development, around the theme "Enhance Connections for Sustainable Futures."

This year, the EuroTeQathon was organized over three days at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and once again offered teams a variety of activities and workshops to prepare their final pitches. Icebreakers allowed students to get to know each other and learn about the other participants' projects. A workshop entitled "Technology: Leave No One Behind" tested the inclusivity of the projects. Coaching sessions with mentors were also held. The highlight of the competition was the final morning of pitches, where the three teams with the best solutions won €1,000 each.

The HEC Paris community is proud to have presented three teams, from the X-HEC EntrepreneursSustainability & Social Innovation (SASI) and Data Science & AI for Business (DSB) Masters programs, all of whom are passionate about entrepreneurship:

  • Stellstice (Anna Kovacs, Lucas Jung, and Cecilia Coppola) is a centralized sustainable development data platform that uses AI to automate data collection and verification. It provides actionable insights to SMEs in the fashion industry.
  • Railo (Jeanne Fritsch, Achille de Miramon, and Louis Petitjean) is the first software created for wagon keepers that streamlines and automates damage report management.
  • Ares (Carlo Antonio Patti, Marco Vittorio Maria Necchi, Miguel Torrez, and Antonio Roberto Ventura): an AI university admissions assistant that ensures candidate engagement and fair assessment for all.

Several teams present at the EuroTeQathon will soon have the opportunity to participate in a boot camp organized by the IESE Business School in Spain, including the Stellstice team. Congratulations to the HEC teams for their involvement in the EuroTeQathon 2025!

About EuroTeQ

At the end of 2023, HEC Paris joined the EuroTeQ Engineering University, a European alliance designed to promote science and technology in entrepreneurship, focusing on the current challenges of sustainable and human development.

Created in 2020, the EuroTeQ Engineering University was originally made up of six of Europe's leading technology universities: Technical University of Munich (TUM), Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), École Polytechnique (l'X), Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).

Following the success of this first phase, two business schools, HEC Paris and the University of Navarra (IESE), have joined the alliance to enrich it with high-level expertise in management, innovation and entrepreneurship.
