Strategic Management Study Trip 2025: Bridging Theory and Practice
In October 2025, over 100 students from the Master in Strategic Management program took part in the annual study trip to London, organised by the HEC team in the UK. Over the course of four days, participants engaged deeply with the city's diverse business environment, gaining valuable insights into different sectors and professional paths. The Learning Expedition began with a networking evening at the HEC UK House, where students had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with alumni based in London. These interactions offered a real-world perspective on various career trajectories and helped students better understand the expectations and realities of working in a global business hub. Alumni played a key role in enriching the experience by sharing their personal journeys and offering practical advice.
Throughout the trip, students participated in a full schedule of company visits and discussions with industry experts. These sessions gave them a closer look at strategic decision-making in action and allowed them to explore how different roles and organisations operate within the broader economic landscape.
This annual study trip aims to give students firsthand exposure to the realities of strategic management in an international setting.
