Aurélie Labruyère, Affiliate Professor
Aurélie Labruyère is an entrepreneur and speaker in the field of wine culture and economy. She has a proven 15 year of track record in higher education on wine as well as extensive writing and consulting experience within the wine business.
Aurélie discovered the wine world while she was a student at HEC, and she has since grown a vast network in the field, with a particular focus on the main French vineyards. In Bordeaux, she worked for Château Margaux before taking over the management of Médoc Crus Bourgeois Association. Upon settling in Bourgogne, Aurélie Labruyère widened her knowledge of the great wine regions of the world, published books on wine and in 2008 won the European Champagne Ambassador’s trophy. In 2009, she co-founded Vindême, where she is in charge of cultural actions and events: private tastings, training, conferences and consulting.
A regular speaker for HEC Executive Education programs, Aurélie lectures on wine businesses and their strategic considerations. She has taught Culture and Marketing at the HEC Grande Ecole Program since 2005. Aurélie is an alumna of HEC Paris, Sciences Po and Sorbonne University.
