Master in Management


Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree from an international institution 

The HEC Master in Management/Grande Ecole Program (MiM) is open to high-level applicants with little or no professional experience, of all nationalities who:

  • Hold a bachelor degree of at least three years having obtained 180 ECTS in any field of studies (engineering, social sciences, sciences, arts, etc.). Applicants may apply in the same year they obtain their degree.
  • French language proficiency is not an admission criterion.

Apply to five French business schools through Join a School in France.  Join a School in France is a platform enabling international students with a non-French Bachelor's degree to apply for the Master's in Management program at five prestigious French business schools via a single application.

Graduates who hold a minimum three-year degree diploma (Bachelor’s, Licence, Benke, etc.) awarded by a nationally accredited higher education institution outside of France can apply directly through Join a School in France.  

The deadlines for the 4 application sessions via Join a School in France are as follows:

Round 1: October 10th, 2024, at midnight Paris time
Round 2: January 3rd, 2025, at midnight Paris time
Round 3: February 28th, 2025, at midnight Paris time
Round 4: April 17th, 2025, at midnight Paris time  

You select your top choice if admitted to more than one school.  

The application fee is 220 euros.  

Students must choose one option only, i.e. if you apply directly to HEC, you cannot apply through Join a School in France (ex SAI), and vice versa. Both methods are treated equally and fairly.  

If an application is submitted both through Join a School in France and through HEC directly, only the first validated application shall be processed for the September 2025 intake.

    • Students who have earned a degree from an institution in which ALL instruction is conducted in English. The official language of the degree program has to be stated in the degree certificate or its supplement, or in the transcript of records
  • One completed online academic reference
    • Reference letters must be submitted by the application deadline for each round.
    • We recommend asking for references at least four (4) weeks before the application deadline.
    • Any reference letter uploaded directly by the candidate to their application must be in PDF format and include the signature of the referee.
  • Passport-style photo

Pre-selected applicants are invited to a 25-30 minute interview. They are encouraged to discuss their unique background, motivation, interests, and goals during this interview.

  • If you have applied directly to HEC, you will have an online interview (in English).
  • If you have applied through Join a School in France you will undergo the interview (in English) at one of the 80 centers worldwide.

Master in International Finance


Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree from an international institution 

HEC welcomes applications from candidates of all nationalities, who are fluent in English and who have a strong quantitative background.

For the Business track, they must also:

  • hold a Bachelor or Master's degree from an international institution - 2:1 honors or above (or equivalent: Dean’s list...)
  • have prior training (at least introductory level) in financial accounting, corporate finance, investments, derivatives, business statistics and calculus.

For the Accelerated track, they must also: hold a Bachelor or Master's degree from an international institution, or a master degree from a French university or engineering school (“Grande Ecole”) - 2:1 honors or above (or equivalent: Dean’s list...).

 

The selection is a 2 phase process:

  • A first selection is made based on the evaluation of your application and supporting documents.
  • The pre-selected candidates will then be invited for a face-to-face or Zoom interview.

Candidates are only allowed to apply to one track within a parent program. This means that a first choice MIF application cannot have a MIF track as a second choice.

Each applicant must choose either Accelerated Track or Business Track, keeping in mind that the ideal candidate profile for each track is different. Please see “THE PROFILE WE VALUE” if you are unsure which track to choose.

Each applicant must then choose either Capital Markets or Corporate Finance as a specialization. If you are unsure which specialization to choose, please see our “COURSE PORTFOLIO” section.

Master in Accounting, Finance & Management


Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree from an international institution 

HEC welcomes applications from candidates of all nationalities who are fluent in English. They should also be recent graduates with a degree from a top institution in domains related to business administration, management, applied economics, or in other fields such as engineering.

The selection is a 2 phase process:

Master in Economics & Finance


Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree from an international institution 

HEC Paris welcomes applications from candidates of all nationalities. They must hold a Bachelor degree (or higher) in any discipline. Prior training in statistics and calculus is required. Previous work experience is not a requirement but can be an asset.

Mastère Spécialisé Médias, Art et Création


Être titulaire d'un bachelor ou d'un master délivré par un établissement international.

Le Mastère Spécialisé Médias, Arts et Création s’adresse aux titulaires ou diplômés français et internationaux de :

  • de Masters universitaires littéraires
  • de Masters artistiques (histoire de l’art et patrimoine, musicologie, cinéma et audiovisuel, théâtre etc.)
  • de masters juridiques (propriété intellectuelle, droit des affaires etc.)
  • de Masters économiques
  • d’écoles d’ingénieurs
  • d’IEP
  • d’écoles spécialisées type école du Louvre, école du Patrimoine, Fémis, ENSCI (vcole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle)
  • de Masters 1, associé à une expérience professionnelle significative ou, à titre dérogatoire, sans expérience professionnelle mais dont les parcours exceptionnels et les projets professionnels incitent les membres du jury à rencontrer les candidats
  • de diplômes étrangers équivalents à ceux précités.

Les qualités requises :

  • Ouverture d’esprit, dynamisme et goût pour la création sous toutes ses formes
  • Attirance réelle pour les métiers du management (aucune connaissance particulière des disciplines de gestion n’est requise)
  • Bonne connaissance d’un des secteurs créatifs couverts par le MS acquise lors de la formation première, d’une activité associative et/ou d’un stage.

Une première sélection est réalisée sur la base de l’examen du dossier de candidature. Une attention particulière est accordée à la qualité du dossier académique du candidat (moyenne générale,...).

Les candidats admissibles sont ensuite convoqués à un entretien de 30 minutes organisé en 2 parties :

  • La première est une présentation orale de 10 minutes sur un sujet portant sur le monde des arts, des médias et de la création, librement choisi par le candidat,
  • La deuxième est un entretien avec un jury composé de professeurs et de responsables d'entreprise qui permet de mieux connaître le candidat, ses projets, ses objectifs et la cohérence de ses choix avec le Mastère Spécialisé choisi.

La décision d’admission est prononcée par un jury à la fin de chaque session.

Mastère Spécialisé/LLM Droit et Management International


Être titulaire d'un bachelor ou d'un master délivré par un établissement international.

Le Mastère Spécialisé/LLM Droit et Management International d’HEC Paris représente une opportunité de formation juridique poussée dans une business school réputée à l’international. Assuré par des enseignants et professionnels experts, ce programme s’adresse aux meilleurs jeunes diplômés en droit de l’enseignement supérieur français et étranger. Ceux-ci doivent être titulaires d’un Master 2 ou d’un Master 1 associé à trois années d’expérience professionnelle ou d’un diplôme équivalent. Les étudiants ayant une courte expérience professionnelle peuvent également postuler.

Les étudiants du Mastère Spécialisé/LLM DMI d’HEC Paris sont principalement issus des institutions et structures suivantes :

  • les troisièmes cycles d’université : titulaires d’un M2 (ou d’un M1, dans la limite de 30% de la promotion)
  • les écoles des barreaux
  • les instituts d’études politiques
  • les cabinets
  • les entreprises.

Toute candidature présentant un parcours de qualité (par exemple Master 1 + CAPA - Certificat d’Aptitude à la Profession d’Avocat) sera examinée avec attention.

La sélection à l’entrée du Mastère Spécialisé/LLM Droit et Management d’HEC Paris est réalisée dans un premier temps sur la base de l’examen du dossier de candidature. Une attention particulière est accordée à la qualité du dossier académique du candidat (GPA...).

Puis les candidats admissibles sont convoqués à un entretien de 20 minutes organisé en deux parties :

  • la première partie est une présentation orale de 10 minutes sur un sujet portant sur le monde juridique. Le thème est librement choisi par le candidat en amont de l’entretien, mais la présentation est réalisée sans support
  • la deuxième partie est un entretien avec un jury composé de professeurs, mais aussi d’avocats, juristes et notaires en activité. Il vise à mieux connaître le candidat, ses projets, ses objectifs et la cohérence de ses choix avec le Mastère Spécialisé/LLM Droit et Management d’HEC Paris, mais aussi à s’assurer d’un niveau d’anglais satisfaisant.

La décision d’admission est prononcée par un jury à la fin de chaque session.

This master is just as relevant for IT specialists and applied mathematicians as it is for high-potential students with little to no former exposure to IT and statistics, as long as they have a strong level in mathematics.

Students must have a strong level in Mathematics and hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in the following fields:

We welcome applications from candidates of all nationalities, who are fluent in English and who have a solid quantitative background as well as a strong interest to pursue a career in areas related with data and finance.

Première étape : candidature auprès de l’Université Paris 1

Pour postuler, tous les étudiants doivent d'abord se porter candidat auprès de l’Université Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne. Pour plus d'information, contactez l'Université Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Les candidats sont, dans un premier-temps, pré-sélectionnés par l’Université Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne sur la base de leur profil académique, leur lettre de motivation et leur CV.

Deuxième étape : candidature auprès d’HEC Paris

Les candidats pré-sélectionnés par l’Université Paris 1 doivent s’inscrire sur la plateforme d’inscription d’HEC Paris.

La procédure est la suivante :

1. Compléter en ligne le formulaire de candidature.

2. Téléverser les documents suivants avant la date de clôture des candidatures :

  • Certificat de scolarité et/ou diplômes supérieurs obtenus (post-BAC),
  • Relevés de notes correspondant à toutes vos études post-BAC,

Important / Passage en M2 :

L’accès en M2 est subordonné à l'obtention par les étudiants d'une moyenne supérieure ou égale à 12/20 sur le semestre Paris 1. Cette règle figure  dans le règlement du diplôme arrêté par les instances de l’université et précisément dans le Règlement de contrôle des connaissances (RCC), dans le paragraphe §III.3 (RCC adopté par la CFVU du 23/01/2018 mis à jour le 29/01/2019)

Concrètement, les étudiants obtenant une moyenne inférieure à 12/20 ne seront donc pas autorisés à poursuivre leur parcours à HEC et à Paris 1.
