Participant Profile
This program is aimed at professionals with at least 8 years of professional experience, including managerial experience, who wish to prepare for a career in business as an entrepreneur or intrapreneur, a consultant in innovation management, a decision-maker for launching innovative projects and making R&D investments, or as a member of the executive team in a company.
Prerequisites and Admission Criteria

Learning and evaluation methods
The fully online nature of the program allows participants to acquire new knowledge and skills alongside their existing responsibilities, without interrupting their careers.
The project-based learning activities combine asynchronous courses, interactive webinars facilitated by HEC Paris professors, and team coaching by professional coaches.
The learning methods include business cases, action-based learning, project management, models and analysis tools, theoretical and practical presentation, group work, interactive exchanges, tutoring, virtual classes, and distance learning.
The evaluation methods used include application in real-life professional situations, business cases, developing objectives and strategies (Marketing, Business Development, Digital, Financial…), applying concepts in real-life contexts, identifying stakeholders and implementing an adapted strategy (for each stakeholder if necessary) and self-assessment.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Our aim is to find out more about your personal motivation and skills and enable us to understand how this program will help you achieve your professional goals. The final selection is based on your online application, including written essays, recommendations and an online video presentation of your project and motivations.
HOW TO APPLY
You will need to upload the following documents to complete your application:
- A copy of your university transcripts
- A copy of your degree
- Résumé (CV) and 2 online letters of recommendation
- 3-minute online video pitch. The video presentation should focus on your motivations for participating in the program and highlight examples of how you have demonstrated an entrepreneurial mindset during your career. These examples can be from either within or outside your current company. In order to submit your video pitch you will need to post it on YouTube. Participants based in China can use YouKu. Please provide us with a private link to the video in your application file.
- Non-refundable application fee of €100
- If you have completed the GMAT or the GRE you may upload your results. Please note, that although the submission of a GMAT or GRE score is not mandatory, it will be taken into consideration for those who have taken the exam
- If you are currently enrolled, or have completed, the Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship University Certificate you will need to submit your proctored exam results in order to earn credits towards the degree
FINAL ADMISSION DECISION
When completed, your application will be submitted to the Executive MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Admissions Committee for the final decision. In some cases you may be invited to an online interview with one of the Program Directors. Admissions decisions are communicated within 2-3 weeks of submitting your application depending on whether we require an additional interview with you.

YOUR DEGREE
This lifelong learning program, which has a BAC+5 level (European level I/EQF 7), has been awarded a Visa by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research via the CEFDG (Commission d'Évaluation des Formations et Diplômes de Gestion). The official title of this degree program is: “Diplôme en Innovation et Entrepreneuriat”. You must complete the 120 ECTS credits to obtain the degree.
Tuition Fees and Funding
The training fee corresponds to the tuition costs.
Program eligibility:
RNCP*: This program prepares candidates for the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” certification listed under file 39423, registered at Level 7 (Master’s degree level) of the RNCP (French National Register of Professional Certifications) by France Compétences on 07/22/2024 (certifying body: Établissement d’enseignement supérieur Hautes Études Commerciales de Paris).
*National Register of Professional Certifications
- No bridge is provided toward another Master’s degree.
- To obtain the certification, the candidate must validate all 10 competency blocks.
- Program eligible for VAE (Validation of Prior Experience).
