Biography

Tomasz Obloj is an Associate Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris where he teaches strategy courses in the PhD, MSc, and EMBA programs. He earned his PhD from INSEAD in 2011.

His research interests include the economic theory of incentives, organizational design, organizational and individual learning. He has published his work, among others, in journals such as the Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice.

He is a winner of the Wiley Blackwell Outstanding Dissertation Award and finalist of the INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Proposal Competition. In 2015, he was awarded the BNP Paribas Pierre Vernimmen Teaching Award.
