Facebook

Who are we, and what is our goal?

The aims of the German Society are mainly to:
(1) Facilitate networking between German-speaking HEC students across different programs.
(2) Bring German-speaking lecturers to campus for speeches and discussions in both English and German.
(3) Connect German-speaking students with companies in the DACH regions, organizing events and communicating job positions.

Key events:

We aim to organize a good mix of company visits, “Stammtische” (get-togethers with German beer and food), and events with political speakers. We also ensure HEC’s participation in sports events with other European Business schools in the German-speaking region (WHU Euromasters, Snowdays in Bozen, etc.).

Why join this society?

Students should join this club if they are passionate about Germany or the wider DACH region and have good ideas as to how to promote them on campus. Students do not necessarily have be fluent in German!

Committee

President: Christian Koch
Vice Presidents: Theresa Stadler & Adrian Hesse.
Members: four full-time, with more helping at specific events.

The society’s history:

The society was founded two years ago and is not officially registered as an HEC society yet. However, we are currently trying to obtain sponsorships!
