'It brings out the worst in everyone': Why some workers are competing for their jobs

When struggling, some companies decide to make their employees re-apply for their jobs. Brad Harris, mangement professor at HEC Paris Business School, outlines the negtaive aspects of these practice in the BBC: "Many workers will internalise that in ways that hurt their self-esteem and confidence. Those that leave will speak ill of the process… which will hurt the organisation’s reputation and ability to recruit when circumstances change."
