Prof. Hyejun Kim
Hyejun Kim is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Business Policy at HEC Paris. Hyejun’s research explains what drives individuals to become entrepreneurs and how they perform in the context of platform-based entrepreneurship.
Hyejun Kim also studies how companies are evaluated by various stakeholders, including consumers, using economic sociology.
Hyejun Kim completed her Ph.D. in Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management at MIT Sloan School of Management, and previously received a M.S. and B.B.A. from Seoul National University.
Her research has been published in the Journal of International Business Studies and several media outlets including the Washington Post.
As an advisor, she also collaborates with international programs at HEC Incubateur.
