Jacques Olivier is Professor of Finance. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. His research interests range from international macroeconomics and growth theory (most recent publication: "Globalization and the Dynamics of Cultural Identity", in collaboration with Mathias Thoenig and Thierry Verdier in the Journal of International Economics) to capital markets (most recent publication: "The Dog that Did not Bark: Insider Trading and Crashes", in collaboration with José Marin in the Journal of Finance).
