Biography
A law graduate from the Catholic University of Milan, Italy, Matteo Winkler has worked twelve years as an international attorney in Milan in parallel with a career as a scholar, with several publications in Italian, English and French. He completed his doctorate at the Bocconi University and his LL.M. at Yale Law School in 2007. He entered the HEC Paris Faculty in 2014.
Matteo’s research interests span human rights and international business law. He focuses, through a significant number of publications, on the rights of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*) people. For this activity, in 2019 the French association L'Autre Cercle awarded him a recognition as a role model for LGBT+ people and allies in France.
