Master of Science X-HEC Entrepreneurs

Hold a Bachelor's of at least four years having obtained at least 240 ECTS or Master's degree from an international institution

The MSc X-HEC Entrepreneurs welcomes applications from candidates of all nationalities. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any discipline and demonstrate a minimum B2 level in both English and French. Previous professional experience is not required but may be considered an asset.

The selection is a 2 phase process:

  • An initial screening is carried out based on a review of the application file. Particular attention is paid to the quality of the candidate’s academic record (GPA, etc.).
  • Shortlisted candidates are then invited to a video interview, held in both English and French, with a panel composed of academic practitioners, alumni, and/or entrepreneurs. This interview aims to better understand the candidate, their projects, their objectives, and the alignment between their profile and the chosen Master’s program.

Admission decisions are made by a jury at the end of each admission session.

Supporting documents to be uploaded before the application deadline:

  • All degree certificate(s) and current enrollment certificate
  • All official academic transcripts obtained in a higher education institution (exchange programs included) with official GPA
  • Résumé (CV)
  • English language proficiency test score report (TOEFL or TOEIC (all four parts required: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing) and or IELTS or Cambridge). Please note that, no minimum pass score is required to apply. This test is waived only for the following:
    • English natives (please upload a scan of your passport)
    • Students who have earned a degree from an institution in which ALL instruction is conducted in English. The official language of the degree program has to be stated in the degree certificate or its supplement, or in the transcript of records
  • Motivation essays
  • Passport-style photo
  • Non-refundable application fee of €150.
  • An online recommendation form must be completed by someone who knows you well and has worked closely with you.
    • We place greater value on a sincere and thoughtful recommendation supported by concrete examples than on a generic endorsement from a well-known individual with whom you have had limited interaction. The strongest recommendations illustrate how you act, learn, collaborate, and take initiative through real-life experiences and specific situations.
    • Reference letters must be submitted by the application deadline for each round.
    • We recommend asking for references at least four (4) weeks before the application deadline.
  • Optional: GMAT (including GMAT Focus) or GRE (including GRE shorter version) or TageMage official score report.

Submit your application online before the deadline for the chosen admissions round (see the Admissions calendar).

Please note that a B2 level in both English and French is required.**

As a bilingual English/French program, the MSc X-HEC Entrepreneurs requires a minimum B2 level in both languages. Some courses and field missions take place in French-speaking professional environments, making proficiency in both English and French essential to fully engage with the program and benefit from all learning opportunities.

International applicants who are not native French speakers must provide proof of French language proficiency as part of their application.
