Veeton: Reinventing Fashion Visuals With AI

Flore Lestrade and her cofounders turned a fast-growing need for fashion visuals into a scalable AI solution adopted by major retail brands.

Flore Lestrade - Veeton

Founded in 2023 by Flore Lestrade, Christian Kotait and Tristan François during the X-HEC Entrepreneurs Master, Veeton is an AI platform that transforms simple flat garment photos into ultra-realistic on-body visuals and videos. Designed for fashion brands and e-commerce teams, the solution replaces costly, time-consuming photo shoots with high-quality, endlessly customizable AI-generated imagery — already doubling conversion rates for clients and reducing production costs by a factor of three. In only one year, the startup raised €2M and earned a spot in Station F’s Future 40 and the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

The problem

Fashion brands now operate in a world where visual content is both indispensable and chronically expensive. Traditional photo shoots require high budgets, long production cycles, limited flexibility, and heavy logistics.

Meanwhile, online retail is exploding — and so is the demand for fresh, diverse, high-quality visuals. For most brands, especially smaller ones, creating this volume of imagery is simply not scalable.

Veeton identified the gap: “Brands need more visuals than ever, and current production methods can’t keep up.

The solution

Veeton offers a turnkey AI platform that generates lifelike fashion visuals from any flat garment photo. Its technology delivers:

  • Ultra-realistic, natural-looking on-body images
  • Choice of models, poses, and even video formats
  • Precise detail and material rendering
  • Ready-to-publish studio-quality visuals for e-commerce

The result? A scalable, flexible, and cost-efficient alternative to conventional shoots — with no compromise on quality.

How They Did It

The strength of Veeton lies in a rare combination of entrepreneurial vision and cutting-edge research.

Flore Lestrade, whose career intentionally focused on startup scaling and digital production, knew she wanted to launch a company right after HEC.

Christian Kotait and Tristan François, machine-learning researchers with experience in Montréal, London and Télécom Paris labs, were already developing early virtual try-on models.

Their meeting at the X-HEC Master’s program sparked a clear alignment.

HEC Paris played a structuring role:

  • The X-HEC Entrepreneurs Master enabled the trio to mature the idea
  • The HEC Startup Launchpad accelerated early execution
  • The Incubateur HEC Paris at Station F offered workspace, mentoring and key introductions
  • This ecosystem also contributed to quickly securing Veeton’s first €2M Seed round.

AI felt like an unstoppable force — we wanted to be part of that momentum, right in the driver’s seat.

What’s Next?

Veeton is preparing the release of a new self-service version of its platform, marking a shift from a high-touch model to a fully autonomous user experience. The team is expanding, strengthening AI research, and developing features that will further democratize access to high-quality fashion visuals.

The ambition is clear: Become the global standard for AI-generated fashion imagery.
