Okimia: the startup that lets you manage your cash flow in one click
While the whole world is going through an unprecedented period and the months to come are uncertain at all levels, Okimia (formerly Fygr), a startup from Incubateur HEC Paris (2020), puts Open Banking at the service of small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) in order to allow their managers to regain visibility and focus on their business, while remaining serene about the financing of the coming months.
Cash management is a crucial subject for the smooth running and development of a company. Nevertheless, it is a delicate exercise that requires rigour and very regular monitoring. François Menjaud (HEC 2017) and Geoffrey Laird kept this in mind when creating Okimia (formerly Fygr).
Okimia is a cash management and forecasting tool that helps the managers of startups, VSEs and SMEs to gain visibility on their activities and keep calm. Monitoring and control of expenses and receipts, structuring of pre- & post- fundraising cost accounting, automated reporting to investors, preparation of financing files with banks, cash flow forecasting, etc. Okimia is, in these times more than ever, an ally of choice for managers to remain zen and confined.
After joining the HEC Incubator at Station F in January 2020, François and Geoffrey very quickly took advantage of the advice of HEC experts in order to set up and distribute a new version of their solution in March 2020. Whether at the beginning of an activity or when it is in full expansion, it is essential to have the right people and the right tools to manage it calmly, and not wait for the situation to become critical before reacting.
Controlling expenses, anticipating financing and planning the next fundraising events in order to better prepare them, this innovative and ultra-intuitive solution supports and enlightens managers at key moments in their development, based on a complete understanding and analysis of the company's activity.
