WomenEntrepreneurs4Good (WE4G) Impact Report: 5 Years Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Worldwide

As the WE4G program celebrates its 5th anniversary, it is the perfect time to reflect on its achievements and impact. Launched immediately after the COVID-19 crisis to counteract its negative effects on women entrepreneurs, WE4G offers comprehensive support designed to ease the entrepreneurial journey, enhance women’s autonomy, and help them expand their networks and secure funding

Impact is what drives the program: to qualify, projects led by female founders must deliver meaningful solutions. Beyond green innovation and social impact, the program has proven to be a genuine launchpad for women entrepreneurs, with remarkable results such as €5.47 million raised from private investors across the first four cohorts, enabling startups to develop and scale their solutions.

WE4G: Expanding Reach and Global Recognition

The WE4G program, initially launched locally, has seen its visibility and influence grow worldwide over the years. The initiative was established in 2021 by the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society in partnership with HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute (since 2021) and Procter & Gamble (2021 & 2022), and was later joined by key partners Bank of America (since 2022), Bredin Prat (since 2023), and Rexel (since 2025). This strong partnership ecosystem provides the entrepreneurs with diverse perspectives and resources.

Growing interest and internationalization

Initially launched in Europe, the program soon expanded worldwide. As the program's scope grows, so does the interest in it. The program’s success in tackling the funding gap and support needs of female founders has resulted in burgeoning global interest. The number of applications received every year demonstrates this growing attraction:

  • The overall program has received applications from 58 different nationalities.
  • One edition received 800 applications from 79 countries!
  • The 2024 cohort alone brought together over 100 women entrepreneurs from 45 countries.

A Holistic Pedagogy Focused on Readiness and Scale

Since the beginning, the program has equipped over 500 female founders with strategic tools and global exposure through an intensive three-day Startup Sprint focused on market research and business model refinement. Following the sprint, 10 finalists attend the online Incubateur HEC Paris for four months, giving them access to over 1,000 experts across various business domains, personalized mentoring and coaching to prepare for fundraising.

The 10 laureates’ journey culminates in a pitch opportunity before a Grand Jury and a broad audience at the Women’s Forum Global Meeting, emphasizing readiness and scale for growing women-led startups.

The impact of this tailored support is evident for the female founders participating in the program. Gabrielle Flipo, co-founder of Intacte, reflects on the program:

“I hugely benefited from the program’s wide network and from the two amazing female coaches that motivated me every day. Now I understand the importance of being surrounded with people who are competent, and share my values."

By providing a supportive environment, the WE4G program helps these women transform challenges into strengths. Elsie Amoako, founder of Mino Care, noted that the program “boosted my confidence and shifted my focus to the value of my work,” helping her conquer her fear of scaling and accepting money.

Fostering a Powerful Community: The Launch of the WE4G Alumni group

The WE4G experience extends beyond the final pitch event. On Friday, November 7th, the laureates and alumni gathered for a dedicated breakfast sponsored by Bank of America at the Ritz Hotel.

This special event served as a platform for discussion and community building, bringing together the current laureates, alumni from previous cohorts, and the program’s sponsors. Bank of America used the opportunity to prompt participants to share the “bold actions” or courageous moves they had recently undertaken with their startups.

The breakfast, which was the occasion to present the WE4G Impact Report, also featured a key announcement cementing the program’s purpose: the launch of an official WE4G Alumni Group, led by Anna Vallée (Founder of Seeds of Colour), an alumna of the second cohort.

This initiative aims to establish a powerful, continuous community where women can share, ask questions, and pursue business opportunities together. HEC Paris will provide resources and events, and partners like Bank of America will contribute content to the group, ensuring sustained support for these impact-driven leaders.

The establishment of this group ensures that the community remains a source of continuous support, echoing the feedback that entrepreneurs are “really glad they got the chance to be part of this amazing community!
