HEC Paris Youth Programs: a journey of growth, confidence and impact
At HEC Paris, we are convinced that the next generation will be defined by bold leaders, innovative entrepreneurs, and socially responsible changemakers. That is why we have designed a range of Youth Programs for talented high school students aged 15 to 18, combining rigorous learning with personal development.
Every year, motivated students from a wide range of academic backgrounds join us on campus to sharpen their skills, broaden their horizons, and prepare to make a lasting impact. Our primary aim is to give them the confidence, tools, and mindset to approach the future with a strong sense of purpose.
So, what can participants expect from each program?
YOUTH LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE – DEVELOPING REFLECTIVE AND RESPONSIBLE LEADERS
The Youth Leadership Initiative, run in English, is a transformative five-day program that takes place on the HEC Paris campus. Designed to strengthen both leadership skills and mindset, it immerses students in a stimulating and supportive environment where they can reflect, grow, and tap into their full potential.
In a world where leadership is needed in schools, communities, businesses, and beyond, the program encourages students to become self-aware, responsible, and engaged leaders who can inspire and drive positive change.
Through interactive workshops, constructive peer feedback, and one-to-one coaching, participants gain insight into their strengths, discover their unique leadership style, and leave empowered to take on new challenges with clarity and confidence.

It has taught me the value of communication, especially the way we communicate not just verbally but also nonverbally. JUNIOR ENTREPRENEUR BOOTCAMP – NURTURING THE STARTUP SPIRIT
The Junior Entrepreneur Bootcamp , taught in French, is a three-day intensive program that introduces students to the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship. It Is aimed at young people eager to understand how innovative business ideas can be transformed into viable ventures.
Through a blend of masterclasses, case studies, and practical workshops, participants dive headfirst into the fundamentals of entrepreneurship - from identifying opportunities and designing business models to pitching ideas in front of potential investors.
Guided by seasoned entrepreneurs and expert mentors, students experience what it really means to build a startup, developing not just entrepreneurial skills but also the resilience and creativity that are essential for any innovator.

FINANCIAL LITERACY – TURNING NUMBERS INTO LIFE SKILLS
The Financial Literacy Program, taught in English in 2025, is an engaging three-day crash course that makes finance accessible, practical, and directly relevant to everyday life. Future editions may be taught in French.
In today’s interconnected world, financial know-how is more than a nice-to-have - it’s a critical life skill. Yet many young adults step into the future without a clear understanding of budgeting, saving, or investing. This program bridges that gap by combining practical activities, real-world case studies, and interactive simulations.
Students explore everything from compound interest and portfolio diversification to company valuation and market dynamics. By the end, they’re ready to make smart financial decisions - whether it’s what to do with €10,000 or how to balance risk and opportunity in an ever-changing economy.

THE ECONOMICS OF FOOTBALL – EXPLORING THE BUSINESS BEHIND THE GAME
Football is more than just the world’s most popular sport - it’s a multi-billion-euro industry. L’Économie du Football Program, taught in French, invites students to look beyond the pitch and examine the financial engine that powers the game.
Why are players’ salaries so high? How do clubs manage massive revenues? What role do sponsors, broadcasters, and fans play in shaping the industry? This short, intensive program gives students the chance to analyze the key stakeholders, revenue models, and economic challenges that define football today.
With guidance from HEC Paris faculty and guest speakers who are active in the field, participants gain both analytical tools and fresh perspectives, while sharing debates and discussions with peers equally passionate about the sport.
