Third edition of the hec business game

This year, the two-day case competition is geared toward digital disruption.

hec business game

On the 7th and 8th of April, almost 200 students from top universities around the world will come to the HEC Paris campus for the 3rd edition of the HEC Business Game. The HEC Business Game is incorporated into the framework of the Alliance of European Business Games with other leading Business Schools including Solvay Business School, St Gallen, UCL, Technical University of Munich and Nova Business School.

The HEC Business Game is an event, organized every year at HEC, which gives students the opportunity to connect with prestigious companies while working on real life business cases. This year’s theme evolves around the concept of disruption. With technology bringing disruption to the business world and society in general, companies need to anticipate this change and transform it into an opportunity in order to gain a competitive advantage.

Therefore, over the two day event, participants will be encouraged to come up with disruptive solutions for 5 challenges sponsored by Bain &Company, Schneider Electric, Earlybird Venture Capital, Gameloft, Klépierre and IBM and pitch their ideas. What makes this event particularly appealing to sponsors is the idea generation that comes from the diversity of the participants. HBG 2017 will bring together 38 different nationalities with different backgrounds such as Business, Law, IT, Engineering, Science and Literature, who come from the most prestigious universities in the world: Bocconi, London Business School, IIM Calcutta or Rotterdam School of Management, just to name a few.

The event will end with a final ceremony full of surprises, where the most talented participants will be rewarded for their work. Afterwards, the celebrations will continue with a party at one of the most popular clubs in Paris.

The HBG 2017 will be an unforgettable event that will bring disruption to the HEC campus!
