Find MBA has compiled a list of the 10 best MBA programs for landing an investment banking job; HEC Paris appears among them. The publication writes that some 18 percent of the MBAs at HEC Paris joined the financial services industry and they earned an average pay package of $118,000.
HEC Paris has offered equine coaching as part of its English Global Executive Coaching programme for 14 years, which is aimed at strengthening team cohesion. In 2018, it introduced coaching with sheep to two of its programmes to help participants gain awareness of the complexity of organisations and the impact of their behaviour on a group.
The single biggest rankings story on the FT list is the ten-place improvement achieved by HEC Paris, writes Poets & Quants.
The school’s MBA program won its best Financial Times ranking ever at ninth, up from 19th last year and a rank of 21st two years ago. That is a remarkable achievement, particularly near the top of a business school ranking where competitors tend to be far more entrenched.
HEC Paris holds an annual disability awareness day and hosts events to raise awareness of disorders such as dyslexia, dysphasia and dyscalculia, which respectively affect reading and writing, speech and comprehension, and mathematical understanding. It also offers assistance dogs to help staff and students with physical, neurological or mental health needs, writes the Financial Times.
HEC Paris has 60 MBA student “ambassadors” who offer one-to-one consultations and campus visits to anyone interested in studying at the school, writes the Financial Times.
“We connect candidates with students, either from their region or professional sector,” explains admissions director Benoit Banchereau. “The majority of people who join our MBA programme have met or interacted with a student or alumnus prior to making their decision.”
The highest climber in this year’s FT ranking is HEC Paris, which moved from 19th to ninth place, largely thanks to its value-for-money ranking and internationally diverse class. Only 6 per cent of its intake are French.
