The Class of 2016 from HEC Paris, one of the world’s top three providers of Executive Education programs, has been honored during the graduation ceremony in Qatar at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University. During the ceremony, held on October 6, Dean of HEC Paris, Professor Peter Todd, announced the new Dean of the Qatar campus, thanking Professor Laoucine Kerbache for his tenure over the past four years.

This 2-year MSc program has been designed to combine high-level expertise in the engineering field, to train students in data sciences, with proficiency in the business field, to form data managers capable of taking strategic decisions based on data resources.

Prestigious French school of management HEC Paris is to celebrate on Monday 26 September the opening of its representative office in Germany during an official ceremony at the Embassy of France in Berlin. Those in attendance include Mr Philippe Etienne, France’s Ambassador to Germany, Mr Peter Todd, Dean of HEC Paris, as well as French and German personalities. The ceremony will be followed by a round table entitled: "How to be an entrepreneur on the other side of the Rhine – the Franco-German perspective."

Following the success of its first online program, the International Certificate in Corporate Finance (ICCF@HEC Paris), HEC Paris will launch its second online certificate program with its partner, Finance Institute this September.

HEC Paris now offers its MBA and EMBA students real-time monitoring of their health, happiness, and well-being. Building on the Connected Care Project, financed by Intel, iHealth Labs, and the HEC Foundation, Arkéa Sécurité, a division of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, will use its dashboard to collect data from HEC Paris and IE Madrid students no matter where they are located. The iHealth Edge and iHealth Air Pulse oximeter automatically upload data through the participants’ smartphones which is then stored on iHealth Labs secure servers. The Arkéa Sécurité dashboard extracts and displays this data with a series of graphs. The biodata generated by the students will be updated every 10 minutes.

1,500 MBA student athletes competed in 23 different sports last week-end. For the past 26 years, the “MBAT” Tournament has been held and organized at HEC Paris. Students from all over Europe left their Excel spreadsheets, market segmentations, and SPSS analyses to challenge one another in climbing, swimming, running, and other sports activities. 

HEC Paris continues to explore how wearable health and well-being devices drive better cognitive performance while improving the health and happiness of managers. The 26 Annual MBA Tournament (MBAT) will bring over 1500 sports enthusiast from the leading MBA schools in Europe to the HEC Paris Jouy-en-Josas campus for three days of sporting competitions and social networking.

Kering and HEC Paris School of Management have renewed ties that were established in 2010 around the school´s Luxury Chair. As a result, Kering will continue its partnership with the HEC Foundation for the next five years and will also sponsor the "Luxury Certificate" programme.

HEC Paris announces the nomination of Chinese entrepreneur Wang Shi, founder and chairman of China Vanke, as the French business school’s International advisor.

The first cohort of the HEC Paris - Puma Energy Executive Leadership Development Programme graduated on April 6th and presented their final business projects via video conference from Johannesburg, El Salvador, Geneva and Singapore.
