From this year on, all of the students who take part in the Master in Management (MiM) Grande Ecole program at HEC Paris will follow the Purposeful Leadership track throughout their studies, thanks to the Joly Family Endowed Chair in Purposeful Leadership.

The objective is to make students aware of the opportunities available to them in business and to invite them to reflect personally on their ambitions.

HEC Paris business school has partnered with cookery school L’atelier des Chefs to launch France’s first professional degree in French cooking for its Master in Management students. This new double degree is a direct response to the increasing demand of the school’s students interested in developing a career in the catering – hospitality sector. The first cohort to the double degree will start classes in September 2019.

HEC Paris, University of Orléans, and the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) are launching cascad, Certification Agency for Scientific Code and Data, the world’s first public laboratory specialized in the certification of the reproducibility of scientific research (www.cascad.tech). 

HEC Paris and the HEC Foundation have launched a five-year fundraising campaign aimed at answering the new economic challenges and the changes that are today reshaping higher education. The campaign is directed towards its graduates and the business community in an effort to consolidate the school’s finances and to accelerate the speed of its transformations.

This unique international alliance of university presidents will hold its first global summit in Paris on 9-10 July 2019, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of France Emmanuel Macron.   This inaugural 2019 summit will tackle 5 major global challenges: the key role of universities in a global world, climate change and cleaner energy, inequality and polarized societies, technological transformations, and community engagement and impact.

ArianeGroup joins ESA_Lab@HEC to launch an applied research initiative, “Exploring the Future of the Space Economy”, in partnership with HEC Paris and the HEC Foundation.

ESA_Lab@HEC is a collaborative platform set up by the European Space Agency (ESA) and leading business school, HEC Paris, to promote research and innovation, and maximize the integration of the space sector into the economy and society.

The aim is to explore scenarios for the future of the space economy over the next three decades and to anticipate new solutions for space transport vehicles.

The “Entrepreneurship for Renewable Energies in Morocco” program was launched at Ecole Polytechnique on March 28.

HEC Paris is taking part in the Aïcha des Gazelles Rally in Morocco for the fifth consecutive year. King Mohammed VI and UNESCO will be the patrons of this event. This 29th edition will be held from March 29 to March 31 2019, departing from Nice (France) and arriving in Essaouira (Morocco).

HEC Paris and Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) have joined forces to develop academic activities in Latin America and Europe.
