Global Network Week for EMBA Participants 2025

In June, our EMBA participants had the opportunity to take part in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) Week, attending courses hosted by partner schools around the world 🌍. GNAM, a network of 33 leading business schools, offers participants the chance to spend an intensive week at another member school, exploring focused courses that draw on each of its unique perspectives, programs, and faculty expertise.

Beyond the classroom, it was also an incredible opportunity for our EMBAs to connect and learn with peers from partner schools like SaĂŻd Business School, Stockholm School of Economics, Yale School of Management, and many more.

Jiamiao LI who attended ESMT Berlin for the Innovation Sprint: From Idea to Business course, shared about the intensity of the week: “Hosted in a building layered with East German history, the program was fast-paced and energizing, from problem framing to mockups to investor-style pitches, all fueled by diverse perspectives.”

Rossella Ghidoni, who joined Managing People in the Global Context at University of California Berkeley, described being “immersed in a dynamic exploration of how we lead, motivate, and organize teams across cultures and industries." She also added that the course content was high-end and truly global, which matched her expectations, and that what really made the difference was experiencing the week in-person.

For Sebastien Bedu, who traveled to FGV Brazil for Sustainable Leadership: The Rainforest Perspective, the experience was deeply personal: “Learning directly from local communities, cooperatives, and NGOs has been truly humbling. Their stories, resilience, and wisdom will stay with me forever.”

Meanwhile, Sandrine Wamy, who went to Yale for Behavioral Science of Management, emphasized the amazing network itself: “I joined 79 incredible peers from top business schools worldwide. The social and networking experience was just as enriching as the academic part!”

GNAM students from partner schools

At the same time, HEC Paris welcomed 37 Executive MBA participants from the partner schools on our campus, led by Academic Directors Cathy Yang and David Restrepo Amariles. Participants explored how AI is transforming industries through expert lectures, workshops, and company visits.

The program featured presentations by HEC Paris professors Sebastian D. Becker and Yangjie Gu, guest speakers Gregory Lewkowicz (Université libre de Bruxelles) and Michalis Vazirgiannis (École Polytechnique), as well as visits to Worldline, Schneider Electric, and STATION F. Participants also attended sessions hosted by Deloitte on AI market trends and use cases, and by AXA. Aymeric Penven from the HEC Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute also presented our Creative Destruction Lab (CDL).

The week concluded with "AI Factory" group presentations, where participants transformed their learnings into innovative ideas and business strategies.

A huge thank you to all the speakers, partners, and our amazing participants for making this a truly global and future-focused experience! To learn more about GNAM and other opportunities for our EMBA participants, connect with us today!
