Information Systems & Operations Management
Research in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management includes topics such as supply chain, purchasing, procurement and logistics, sustainable operations, green supply chain, information technology, e-business Strategy, e-government and off-shoring, virtual worlds, online communities and social networks, project management, strategic management of innovation and new product development.
The department counts around 15 professors who have published 38 articles in prestigious journals, 8 books, and made 120 communications in conferences and international symposiums over the last five years.
The faculty teach courses and electives in all programs: MSc, MBA, Executive Education and PhD. The department also coordinates 3 specialized masters programs, 2 executive masters and a specialization in the PhD program (Operations & Supply Chain Management).
