HEC Startup Team Valiant in Hult Finals Showdown
The HEC students’ startup ProTeen competed valiantly for the coveted Hult Prize Global Finals on Saturday as one of six student startups devoted to youth employment vying for what its sponsor called “the largest student competition on earth”. ProTeen was beaten to the top prize of $1 million seed fund by winners Rutopia, from Mexico.
HEC Graduates Vie for Student ‘Nobel Prize’
For the second time in its 10-year history, HEC Paris acceded to the coveted Hult Prize Finals, a contest described by Muhammad Yunus as the “Nobel Prize for students”. After an epic semifinal at Berkhamsted Castle on August 31, the trio of HEC graduates reached the September 14 showdown thanks to their startup project ProTeen.

“Impact Tomorrow”: HEC Paris Kicks Off €200 Million Fundraising Campaign
HEC Paris and its HEC Foundation partners launched their most ambitious fundraising campaign to date on June 20, designed to propel HEC into the world’s Top 10 business schools. Over 300 supporters came to the launch held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Paris, a venue chosen to symbolize HEC’s growing international dimension and impact. They pledged to back the school’s drive to raise €200 million by 2024.
