Medene, to access a safe and natural health and beauty routine

This week we met with Camille Pereira, Laure de Lacaze and Marie-Claire Kanaan, the three founders of the start-up Medene, which has just joined the Winter Batch of the HEC incubator at Station F. Their adventure began on the benches of the HEC Entrepreneur Master's degree in 2017.

Nature knows best. There’s no need to convince these three scientists specialized in aromatherapy who have joined together on the adventure of entrepreneurship, offering ready-to-use aromatherapy solutions designed to meet individual needs.

“In recent years there has been a trend of returning to the use of natural products. And yet self-medication and DIY aromatherapy can be very dangerous. The wrong dosage of essential oils can cause severe burns and other unwanted side effects. We created Medene from a desire to help people access a safe and natural health and beauty routine ”  explains Marie-Claire.

Medene offers a range of products made in France using 100% natural and organic ingredients. 
And since these three women do not do things by halves, they source the essential and vegetable oils from French producers who guarantee the products’ pharmaceutical quality. The products are packaged with paper from sustainably managed forests. 
The composition of these products was developed with support from a team of aromatherapy experts and the participation of over 700 testers.

3 products are currently available: 

-    “Boom Boom Power” invigorating serum to fight fatigue and a dull complexion.  

-    “Croco Craquant” nourishing oil to get those with dry skin through the winter months safe and sound.

-    “Dynamite Body” sport oil in limited edition to relieve muscle pain. 

Medene’s long-term goal is to offer customized aromatherapy on their website. Customers will receive a personalized formula that respects their nature, based on their preferences, needs and medical history.
