Biography

Jin Wook Chang received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Theory from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University. His research focuses on individual and group behavior in competitive situations, particularly how competition, both within and between groups, affects ways in which group members utilize their knowledge and opinions. His work has been published in journals such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, and recognized as best paper or poster from the Academy of Management and Interdisciplinary Network for Group Research conferences. He has served on the editorial board for Small Group Research, and is a member of the Academy of Management, the Interdisciplinary Network for Group Research, and the Association for Psychological Science.
