In a context where strategic bets are multiplying and uncertainty is ever-present, failure is both feared and inevitable. This program encourages leaders to adopt a new perspective on risk and failure, transforming them into drivers of innovation and resilience. It explores how to balance boldness and discernment in decision-making, anticipate the conditions necessary for bouncing back, and develop the right attitudes for navigating unstable environments.
Drawing on emblematic cases of innovations born from mistakes, failures, or strategic pivots, and employing a resolutely experiential teaching approach, this short programme invites participants to revisit their managerial practices and beliefs about failure. Through practical situations, they experiment with immediately applicable levers for fostering learning dynamics, strengthening both individual and collective resilience, and sustainably stimulating innovation within their teams.

Cost:
Mapping the types of innovation (incremental, adjacent, disruptive) and the associated risk profiles. Distinguishing between calculable risks and radical uncertainties.
Distinguishing between errors, failures, and learning failures. Working on limiting and empowering beliefs related to status, vulnerability, and image.
Resilience processes before, during, and after failure. Building rituals for expressing experiences, gaining perspective, and team capitalisation.
Identifying judgement biases. Combining intuition, partial data, and divergent viewpoints to make decisions without waiting for certainty.
Adjusting one’s course in real time. Experimenting with micro-improvisation situations to develop agility, presence, and permission to try.
Pedagogy:
A decidedly active and experiential pedagogy: 30% input (models, frameworks, research insights) and 70% practical engagement (real cases, role play, improvisation exercises, constellations, co-development). Participants work using their own real-life situations: risky decisions, innovative projects, and significant failures.
Evaluations:
- Self-assessment at the start and end of the program on key dimensions (relationship to risk, attitude towards failure, resilience mechanisms)
- Creation of a personal action plan: one bet to recalibrate, one learning ritual to try, one personal development
- Feedback in small groups on learnings and post-training commitments.
