Program overview

The world is changing with increasing speed and turbulence. We are reaching ‘tipping points’ or ‘thresholds’ beyond which a safe and just space for humanity can no longer be achieved. Linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, the Planetary Boundaries and the Donut Economy have become reference frameworks. This course will explore why and how companies can transform themselves to operate within the Planetary boundaries and the Donut Economy, through going beyond incremental changes: at one point it requires new disruptive business models: low carbon, circular, biodiversity friendly and inclusive.

The program is aimed at:

This program targets managers and leaders who want to make a difference and be actors of sustainability: either through classical functions (which can be strategy, corporate finance, operations , marketing, etc.), or as sustainability manager or leader. It targets also consultants, who want to contribute to sustainable transformation of their client companies.

Pedagogy and Evaluations

Pédagogy :

Very diverse learning methods characterize the program : theory, practical cases, exercises, simulations, application within your own company, sharing of practices, co-development... Some preparation can be required before the modules, like the reading and preparation of case studies.

Evaluations

Participants will be assessed through essays on case studies or reflections; through group presentations and simulations.
