Biography
Michel Giffard teaches and facilitates various programs addressing personal development and leadership within HEC Executive Education. Michel Giffard is a professional coach. He supervises and trains professional coaches. More specifically, he is the Academic Director of certificate programs in Executive Coaching.
Michel Giffard started his career as an engineer dedicated to economics research with INRA (French National Institute for Research in Agronomy). He then became Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer for African subsidiaries of the French Company for the Development of Textile Fibers. He went on to hold various positions in the management of information systems, in particular with Bull where he was, as an internal consultant in charge of the Information System Department.
In 1989, Michel Giffard created his own consulting company specialized in personal and management development, executive and team coaching, and professional coaching training. Michel Giffard is the author and co-author of several books on personal development and coaching, including: Développez votre intuition et celle de votre équipe, Editions ESF, 1992; Les équipes intelligentes (coll.), Editions d'Organisation, 1999; Coaché !, Editions d'Organisation, 2003 ; Coaching d'équipe, outils et pratiques, Armand Colin, 2007 (with Michel Moral) ; Votre intuition au service du succès, 2009 (Presses du Châtelet).Michel Giffard holds an HEC Master's degree.
