Biography

Matthew Mulford teaches in various HEC Executive Education programs, such as HEC Executive MBA and customized programs, which he also designs and facilitates as Academic Director.

Matt Mulford joined the London School of Economics (LSE) faculty in 1995 where he has been a senior lecturer in quantitative methods and negotiation analysis. He was a founding Dean (until 2009) of the TRIUM Global Executive MBA program - a joint EMBA from HEC Paris, the London School of Economics and New York University's Stern Business School. This EMBA is ranked as one of the top 5 EMBAs in the world by the Financial Times.
Matt Mulford's research interests include the psychology of judgment and decision making in interdependent interactions; experimental game theory; negotiation theory; experimental research design.
Capitalizing on his expertise in negotiation analysis, effective business decision making and leadership, Matt Mulford has also designed and/or taught customized executive programs for various institutions around the world and across a variety of industries and in more than 20 countries.
He has won university-wide outstanding teaching awards at both the University of Oregon and the LSE.
Matt Mulford received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon, where he worked at the Richard J. Hill Institute of Social Cognition and Decision Making. He holds a Master's degree from New York University, where he studied game theory and politics.
