This experience boosted my confidence in working with AI and data-related tools. I now feel equipped to integrate these skills into my future professional work.
I chose the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Summer Program at HEC Paris to explore a field I found genuinely relevant to my future career. Coming from a management background, I wanted to understand how data science and AI could practically shape strategic decision-making and drive innovation.
The program offered a great balance between theory and hands-on learning. Our professor, Vincent Fraitot, challenged us to think critically and creatively. One highlight was a workshop with HEC Alumni, where we applied our AI skills to analyze their company and suggest meaningful improvements, turning learning into real impact.
Outside the classroom, the HEC Paris campus experience was just as valuable. The school organized a range of after-class activities that made it easy to connect with people from around the world. These experiences added a strong human and social dimension to the program.
The group projects were another major strength. They pushed us to collaborate, exchange diverse ideas, and solve real-world problems together. For me, the summer program was a transformative experience. It not only improved my technical skills but also helped me develop a sharper strategic mindset, stronger communication abilities, and more agile problem-solving.
Another added benefit from the program was access to six months of free learning on DataCamp, which allowed us to continue building our data science and AI skills beyond the classroom. This gave me the chance to deepen my understanding at my own pace and explore topics more aligned with my career interests.
