Biography
My research interests revolve around cognitive psychology, judgement, and decision making. I am passionate about understanding how the inferences we make on the intentions of others influence how we process the information they share.
In one of my projects, I investigate how individuals process incoming information in the context of attitude conflict. More precisely, I study how discussing with a disagreeing counterpart perceived as receptive to one's own views influences one's own assessment of counter-attitudinal information. As our society becomes more and more polarized, can we still find contexts in which actual exchanges of ideas take place?
