Cyril Pierre de Geyer

Cyril Pierre de Geyer is an Affiliate Professor at HEC Paris, a serial entrepreneur, and CEO of Rocket Education, which oversees two innovative schools that complement the HEC ecosystem: Rocket School (www.rocket-school.com – operational profiles on digital & business) and École Gustave (www.ecole-gustave.com – construction trades).

A specialist in digital technologies, Cyril co-authored reference books on PHP. He co-founded Anaska, a training company sold to the Économ group, and launched several tech startups before focusing on education and early-stage investment.

As an active business angel, he has supported numerous high-impact ventures, including BlaBlaCar and Edusign. Passionate about transforming education, he led the French IT school Epitech and, in 2011, created its Executive MBA in IT, one of the first in France to integrate MOOCs.

In 2018, he founded Rocket School, a government-recognized “Grande École du Numérique” that trains marketing and sales professionals with strong AI skills. The school focuses on atypical talent and reverse pedagogy, with a 96% employment rate.

In 2021, he launched École Gustave, a vocational school for the construction sector built on a learning-by-doing approach and the development of soft skills.

Cyril is also the author of PHP 7 Avancé, co-founder of the PHP France association, and teaches entrepreneurship and innovation at HEC Paris.
