I now see finance not just as numbers, but as a language that explains how ideas grow into sustainable ventures.
My journey to finance and business actually started with the HEC Paris Junior Entrepreneur Bootcamp. I was wondering at the time how business ideas become a reality, how creativity, teamwork, and leadership get a hold, or how they become concrete. In that program I learned how to start things off, bring ideas forward courageously, and not be afraid of a challenge but come closer to it with wonder. It was a first experience in entrepreneurship, and it lit something up inside me: the desire to go even further, to learn not only how to create, but how to build something viable and profitable.
That's what drove me to apply to a second program, Financial Literacy. I wanted to continue building these same concepts in a more international and academic environment, this time entirely in English. The program was a perfect continuation of what I had already established. It enhanced my understanding of finance and showed me how creative thinking and analytical thinking can complement one another. The professors were truly exceptional, internationally renowned experts who managed to make complex financial concepts clear, engaging, and relevant. Their energy and openness made every lecture feel alive and intellectually stimulating. With the privilege of working with students from all over the world, I gained insight into how a project is strengthened by different minds.
In reflection, both programs have enriched me in different yet complementary ways. The Junior Entrepreneur Bootcamp gave me confidence, initiative, and a spark for innovation. The Financial Literacy program gave me a deeper understanding of how finance drives decision-making in today’s world. It taught me how to read and interpret financial data, assess risks, and design realistic business models. I now see finance not just as numbers, but as a language that explains how ideas grow into sustainable ventures.
These experiences have confirmed my desire to keep learning and building at the crossroads of innovation and finance, with a clear, global, and forward-looking vision. Together, they've shaped not only my intellectual passions but also my mindset: I have gained valuable analytical, teamwork, and communication skills; I now solve problems strategically, with imagination as well as precision, and I am eager to apply what I have learned in further studies or internships. My commitment to keep learning, constructing, and contributing to worthwhile, forward-looking endeavors has been reinforced.
I would recommend this program to curious, motivated students who want an intensive, international learning experience at one of Europe’s top business schools.
